I'm 58. My profile is casual, but classy when I have to dress up. I have a sagging neckline and my hair at the top of forehead is thinning. Am I better off keeping my long bob to disguise my neck or cutting it shorter to add emphasis upward?
Am at a loss. Like hairstyles that make me look younger,
but not ridiculous.
Thanks
ANSWER:
Without seeing you it's difficult, but generally a long bob isn't going to disguise your neck. Use collars and necklines for that.
A stacked inverted Bob will lift, and dermatch (available at folica.com) is a great way to conceal thinning hair by coloring the scalp (like brow color). If possible the "longer in front" angled bob style can help to draw attention away from the neck. Which is more the idea than covering it (also another reason for eye make up and earrings...)
Also the hair on top will look thicker if the hair on the bottom is shorter. It's a proportion thing.
If you have my book there is a whole section on this with visuals of the makeover models from profile to give you an idea.
Thank you!
