Jumping on the Jumpsuit

I like a good jumpsuit.  The jumpsuit has returned in full force, at least in theory.  Ask a random poll of the women on my staff, however, and you will find nary a one willing to, er, jump on this trend.  I’m not exactly sure why.

I suspect it is because each has a different perception of what a jumpsuit is, and in effect, what image it projects.  I love jumpsuits because they are fun/different/ and can flatter almost all body types.  It creates a solid monochromatic line (in general if it is cut from the same cloth) and can be created to fit any personal style, budget and taste.  Jumpsuits can be casual, dressy, fun, alluring, sporty, short, long, tight or baggy.

OfBlouson, halter, full leg jumpsuit course, using the restroom is a total pain in the ass I’m told, and can only imagine, but for the sake of fashion and flattery, must we really worry about sitting naked holding on to our clothes for but a moment?

This jumpsuit, though more dressy, could be worn semi casually.  This style, best for broad shoulders and a shorter torso could also help conceal a protruding abdomen.  All in one quick zip!

Use all the camouflage clues when choosing a jumpsuit that's right for you.

  • The tighter the taper the bigger the butt.
  • Shoulder detail, padding and puff help balance full hips.
  • 3/4 sleeves conceal and draw attention away from hips to the waist.
  • Matching rather than contrasting belt will be most slenderizing.
  • Wherever a pocket there go our eyes.  Breast pockets are a bust building friend.
  • Cropped styling shortens your legs.
