Okay, I’m sure you receive countless e-mails everyday from desperate women wanting a makeover from you. I’m anxiously anticipating that you will have a sequel to your inspiring book, “Staging Your Comeback”, and I would love to be considered for a makeover from top to bottom. You have hit the target dead center on women wanting to make a comeback with your talent. I could relate to the stories of just about every woman you featured. That was me on those pages. I have embarked on a wonderful journey, and the ride is only getting better. It’s been one peak moment after another.
I am 49 nine years old. As my mother would say, I was in a rut and becoming a victim of the 5 F’s – A forty-something, fat and frumpy fertile female. What a wake up call. I recently lost 40 pounds and have started a transformation both inside and out. I have kept the weight off now for two years with dedication and commitment to exercise and eating healthy. I feel like I’m 25 and thankfully look younger than 49. Prior to losing weight, I was relatively a low maintenance woman; due to a lack of self esteem with no interest in looking good. I didn’t know where to start, nor would I even allow myself to possibly think or accept the fact that I could ever look attractive. During this transformation (as you would call, my entrance to the second act), I have now decided it was time to give attention to my skin care, hair, and especially my makeup. The self-esteem is coming back. It’s time to finally learn how to apply makeup correctly so I can enhance my beauty in an age appropriate manner. Now that I am a size 8-10, for the first time in my life, I am enjoying clothing shopping in fashionable stores and wearing something fun and that is in style!
So what do I have to do to be considered for a future audition at your studio? I need help from a professional to show me what I need to do. Lately, so many pieces to the puzzle have been falling into place. I am so looking forward to making a head-turning, eye-catching comeback! Life is just starting for me – and I truly mean it! I would be interested in knowing of any future makeover opportunities that may come available at your studio.
